He was a long time resident of Fairless Hills. Carl was born in Bristol, PA, to parents Carl and Helen (nee Lodge) Marshall. His early education was in the one room schoolhouse at St. Lukes in Croydon, PA. He graduated from DelHaas High School at age 16. He was a lifelong member of Hope Lutheran Church in Levittown and a dedicated employee to Acme Markets where he managed many area stores.
Carl was an avid reader and huge Philadelphia sports fan. He played men’s softball in Bucks County and South Jersey into his mid 70s. He was very proud of his World Series win in Las Vegas. His passion for baseball continued as he helped coach his grandsons teams at both FHAA and LA.
Carl loved to garden and would give his tomatoes and cucumbers to all of the neighborhood. His greatest joy however, came from his years of traveling with his son Butch and his grandson's hockey and baseball teams. He was a fixture at both Grundy and Skate Zone where he was everyone's Pop. On non-sport weekends Carl would frequent the casinos and malls with Ruthie. Carl was an amazing role model who will be greatly missed.
