Brian P. Rhoades passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 60. Brian was born, raised and educated in Levittown and graduated from Bishop Egan High School in 1977. He worked for 40 years as a flooring specialist for several different firms. A true Flyers fan, he could often be seen wearing his black & orange. He was very proud of his Pennsylvania Dutch and Irish heritage and often sported his t-shirt of his great-great grandfather in his Union Civil War Uniform. He loved cars especially older Dodges and annually attended the Wildwood NJ car show.Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Charles K. and father, Lawrence C. Rhoades. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Rhoades, three sisters, Laura Foulds (Jim), Elaine Rhoades (Bill Lahtinen), Rosemarie Hoffman (Ken Seino), numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call from 9 until 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.Contributions in Brian's name may be made to St. Mary Medical Center, 1201 Langhorne Newtown Rd., Langhorne, PA 19047.
