Betty Jane Mueller Our beloved mother, Betty Jane Mueller died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. She was 82 years old. Born in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia and raised in Mahanoy City, Mrs. Mueller was a Lower Bucks County resident for 60 years. Betty Jane was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish, Levittown. For most of her working career, Mrs. Mueller was proud to be a registered nurse, working for 10 years in the Emergency Room at Lower Bucks Hospital, the US Steel Dispensary for 15 years and was the nightime Supervisor at Silver Lake Nursing Home until her retirement in 1996. She was the beloved wife of the late Adolf G., and the loving mother of the late Robert J. and David A. Mueller. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Cheryl Friedman-Costabile (Wayne) of Holland, Jane Mueller of Croydon and Denise Bearce (Ronald) of Fairless Hills; her grandchildren, Dana, Erica, Heather and Erik; her great granddaughter, Brooklyn Marie; her brother, Louis Dacey (Jean) of Eatontown, NJ and her longtime companion, Nick Quitter of Philadelphia. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 12:30 until 1:30 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
