The daughter of Roland and Louise Mallon, she was born July 10, 1936, at Germantown Hospital.
Betsy was a graduate of Abington Friends School. She was a member and former deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Levittown, where she had been a member of the "Crazy Camp Kirkwood Cooks" and was a former childcare worker at the church's daycare. She loved life and was passionate about causes dealing with children, animals and veterans.
Surviving are four children: Thomas Jackson and wife, Kathy, Kent Island, Maryland; Patricia Rich and husband, Kenneth, Robinson, ; Kimberly Henderson, Levittown; and Jennifer Falkevitz and husband, Rick, Langhorne; son-in-law, Mike Smith, Levittown; her grandchildren: Justin Pace and wife, Cara, Lake Worth, Fla.; Elias Jackson, Crabtree; Sean Jackson and wife, Danna, Irwin; Michael Rich and wife, Heidi, Edinboro; Angeline Swisher and husband, Mark, Levittown; Derek Smith and wife, Becky, Penndel; Brooke Boney and husband, Mark, Okeechobee, Fla.; Paige Henderson, Levittown; and Brynn, Autumn and Austin Falkevitz, all of Langhorne; her great-grandchildren: Nathan and Dylan Jackson, Johnstown; Xavier Rich, Edinboro; Trinity Hoffman, Chloe, Bryce, Kylie, Grace and Constantina Swisher, all of Levittown; and Jared Smith, Penndel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pray; her parents; two daughters, Cathy Pace and Linda Smith; and three grandchildren, Leslie Jackson, Daniel Rich and Jessica Falkevitz.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 8:00 until 10:00 AM at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
