Beth was born in December, 1970 at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA. She was the fifth of five children born to Joseph and Dolores Kimsal. She spent her formative years in Fairless Hills, PA, and attended Pennsbury High School. Beth was a member of the Pennsbury Marching Band, and she participated in their historic trip to China in 1988. She graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1988, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from West Chester University in 1992.
She met her future husband, Allan Stead, while she was in college, and they were married in 1993. Beth and Allan settled in Yardley, PA, where they raised their children, son Sean Joseph Stead and daughter Caroline Elizabeth Stead.
Beth worked for Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School as a school aide. She was proud to have her own children also graduate from Pennsbury High School.
Beth enjoyed photography and scrapbooking to preserve her family’s memories, She was an avid reader, and shared many conversations with her book club over the years. She loved all things Disney as well as Philadelphia sports teams: the Sixers, the Phillies, the Flyers and the Eagles. Beth enjoyed keeping up with friends on social media, but her greatest love was her family.
Beth is survived by her beloved husband, Allan Stead, her son Sean Stead, and her daughter Caroline Stead (fiancé Sam Davis). Also surviving are her siblings Kathleen Grassel (Dottie Lerario), Joseph F. Kimsal (Gwen), Christopher Kimsal (Diane), and Anthony Kimsal (Michael Nathan), aunt Virginia Parkinson (Daniel), nieces and nephews Nathanial Gordon, Rebecca Poemer (Robert, and son Aiden), Andrew Kimsal, Ben Kimsal, Rachel Kimsal, Shannon Kimsal, and Karsten Kimsal, a number of cousins around the country, and many friends.
Beth was preceded in death by her father Joseph A. Kimsal, her mother Dolores Kimsal, her father-in-law, John Stead, and her mother-in-law, Alice Stead.
Friends are famiy are invited to call on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held 8:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
