Bernice E. Rhea

Bernice E. Rhea of Levittown died on Friday, July 5, 2013. She was 87. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Rhea has been a long time resident of Levittown. She was a deeply religious person who enjoyed singing, jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Rhea also enjoyed flowers and gardening and especially loved to read. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was wonderful with children and loved times spent with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rhea was the wife of the late Arthur W. Rhea. She was the loving mother of Arthur and his wife Jean Rhea, Cheri Collins and the late Donald E. Rhea. She was the devoted grandmother of Arthur W., Janelle, Michael and Candice and the great grandmother of Cayden. She will also be missed by her brother Mark Bromley; her nieces Mary and Barbara LaPierre and numerous other nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home at the above address.
