Beatrice F. Miller

Beatrice F. Miller of Levittown died on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Lower Bucks Hospital. She was 86. Born and raised in Harkers Island, NC, Mrs. Miller was a proud 59 year original Levittown homeowner. She enjoyed ceramics but most important in her life was her love for her family. Mrs. Miller was the beloved wife of the late Russell R. Miller and mother of the late Melinda D. Craner and Ivey Carl Miller. She was the devoted grandmother of Russell Lee Miller, Ivey Carl Miller Jr., Jason J. Craner and Cynthia Dawn Ritchie and the great grandmother of 5. She was the sister of Annie Gaskill of Philadelphia, Clara Carberry (Tom) of Medford Lakes, NJ, Effie Gilliken (Algeron) of Harkers Island, NC, Albert Gaskill (Sandra) of Harkers Island, NC and Ivey Miller Gaskill (Priscilla) of South Port, NC. She will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday from 9 until 10:30 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
