Barbara Jean Simon

Barbara Jean Simon died on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at her home in Bristol. She was 68. Barbara was born in Philadelphia, she is the daughter of the late David and Jeanette (Kruezburg) Barclay. She enjoyed traveling and loved to dance every weekend to the Big Band sound of jitterbug music. Barbara was the office manage for 33 years at the Wissinoming Medical Center, then went to teach medical at Pennco Tech in Bristol. Mother of the late David Lawrence and Dena Jameison, Barbara is survived by her devoted daughter Stacy Vetovick-Burnham and her husband, Timtohy of Bristol and her grandchildren, Brittany, Patrick, Kristen, Sarah, Nicole, Kimber and Dylan. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, from 6:00 until 7:30 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where her memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm. Interment will be held privately. The family has requested that memorial contributions in her memory be made to Vitas Hospice at Nazareth, 2601 Holme Ave., 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19152 or to Deborah Hospital Foundation, PO Box 820, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
