April C. Collins

April C. Collins, of Levittown died on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 51. Born in Altoona, PA, April has been a long time resident of Lower Bucks County and has resided in Bristol Township since 1986. She graduated from Pennsbury High School. April was the beloved wife of John L. Collins for 24 years. She was the loving daughter of Joyce Verillo (nee Brown) and the late John Verillo. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Elizabeth McAdams, Jenny and her husband Dave Thornton; brothers, John Verillo and Gregg and his wife Cheryl Verillo; her sister-in-law Ann Keefe; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved boys Cody and Royale. Family was most important to April and she loved spending time with all of her loved ones. She leaves behind many fond memories of dancing and having fun with her mother and sisters. One of April's favorite pastimes was cleaning. She also loved her job helping the residents of Pennswood Village where she worked in recent years. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
