Andrew J. Orloski, Sr. Andrew J. Orloski, Sr. passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Langhorne Gardens. He was 93. Born in Burnham, PA, Andy was an original Fairless Hills homeowner and Saint Frances Cabrini Parishioner, where he also sang with the choir and was a member of the Senior Citizens group. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council 4215. Andy retired from USX Fairless Works after 28 1/2 years and then joined his wife for 12 years with Homesitting Services. He was a US Army veteran who served from 1942-1945 in North Africa, Italy, Germany and France and was a Purple Heart recipient. Andy was an avid golfer and reader and also enjoyed bowling, chess, pinochle and horseshoes. In 1977, he played at Pebble Beach which was a highlight of a six week cross country trip he took with his wife. On January 31, 2012, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Monsignor Michael P. McCormac of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, was the presider as Andy and his beloved wife renewed their marriage vows in celebration of their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Beloved husband of 61 years to Cecelia R. (Burd), Andy was the loving father of Andrew J., Jr., Stephen A. and Perry D. Orloski. He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Daniel, Anastasia, Jenny, Todd, Neil, Anne Marie and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Mitchell, Tara, Isabella, Dylan and Nolan; and his sister-in-law, Rita Van Meter (Harold). He was predeceased by a daughter, Mary and two sisters, Katherine Clark and Mary Mazza. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. After Easter, his funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and interment will be held in Juniata Memorial Park in Lewistown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Andy's name may be made to Eternal World Television Network, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210.
