He was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. Allan worked in retail for 15 years, with his most memorable role being a District Manager for Blockbuster.
Allan was an avid sports and Dallas Cowboys fan, and thoroughly enjoyed fishing with his buddies, daughters, and nephew Steven at Penn Warner fishing club in Tullytown, PA. He took trips to Canada with his friends for many years, to fish and admire nature. His most prized possession was his 1991 blue Ford F150 Flareside pickup truck. He loved his family to no end, and especially cherished the time he spent with his beloved mom. He also enjoyed spending his days with his fiancé, Patty and her family, which quickly became his own. They loved attending concerts, sporting events, watching football at home, and grabbing coffee and taking a drive through the local park. Allan adored his granddaughter Mia, and would spend hours playing store with her or letting her play computer games well past her bedtime.
Allan is the son of Margaret Ritchie and the late Thurman Ritchie. He is survived by his fiancé: Patricia Mohn; children: Brandi Ritchie and Ryan Auerbach (Andrew Auerbach); grandchildren: Mia Lupinacci, Evalyn Auerbach, Reagan Auerbach, and Ashton Auerbach; siblings: the late Thurman Ritchie Jr., Ronald Ritchie (Aleyda Ritchie), Brian Ritchie (Lisa Ritchie); nieces and nephews: the late Elyse Ritchie, Blake Ritchie, Brian Ritchie Jr., Steven Ritchie (Zari Ritchie), and Stephanie Ritchie; brother-in-law: Leroy Rudy; step-children: Tina Ammerman (Bob Ammerman), Tracey Evans, Russell Mohn, and Brian Mohn; step-granddaughter: Angelina Evans.
