Alice D. HallAlice D. Hall of Levittown died on Friday, January 8, 2016 at her home. She was 88.Born and raised in Jeddo, PA, Mrs. Hall formerly resided in Ewing, NJ before moving to Levittown in 1963.She was employed in the custodial department of the Pennsbury School District at Manor Elementary School for many years until retiring in 1996.Mrs. Hall was a member of the former St. Joseph the Worker parish.She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, cooking and Facebook surfing.Mrs. Hall was the wife of the late Patrick J. Hall Sr. and mother of the late Patrick J. Hall Jr.She was the loving mother of Darlene Barnes (Bennett) of Langhorne and Shirley Crowell (Byron) of Fallsington and the mother-in-law of Leslie Hall of Longwood, FL.She was the devoted grandmother of Patrick J. III (Ashley), Cari Hall, Jessica Estep (Ben), Valerie Seccia (TJ), Andrew Barnes, James Kettler, Jason Crowell and Allison Crowell and the great grandmother of Gavin, Liam, Dylan, Vinny and Lillianna.One of 14 siblings, Alice is survived by one sister Thelma Gabrielle (Bernard) of Freeland, PA; two brothers Thomas Hvizda (Mary) of Alabama and George Hvizda (Madelyn) of Hamilton, NJ and many nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call from 7 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and 8:15 until 9:15 a.m. on Thursday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church followed by Rite of Committal at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
