Alice M. Brown Alice M. Brown passed away at home September 27th, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 72. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Veronica and Henry Doerfler, Alice moved to Bucks County in her early twenties and has been a resident of Bristol Twp. for over fifty years. She was a 1959 graduate of South High School in Pittsburgh, PA and is a member of Immaculate Conception Parish. She worked in the steel purchasing business for many years before her twenty three year employment with Bristol Twp. Schools. Alice truly loved her job and the people at Bristol Twp. Schools. She managed thirteen school's custodial staffs and respected a strong work ethic like her own. Alice was preceded in death by her brother William Doerfler. Alice will be sadly missed by her son, the light of her life, John Munice. She was the devoted aunt of David (Eileen), Missy, Tammy (Mark), and many nieces, grandnieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her brother Henry and his wife Mary, nieces Marcy, Lori and Kelly and dearest friends Josie, Karen, and Chris Hunt. Alice was an avid card player, loved the theater, Coach, dining out, and family gatherings. "Aunt Alice", as she was known to many, always supported her family's gym nights, costume making, house decorating and attending all events. She possessed a heart of gold as many of her friends can attest. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday, from 9:30 until 10:30 am at the James J.
