Alice Behar

Alice (Stewart) Behar, 69, of Levittown, Pennsylvania passed away on August 4, 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother, grammy, sister and friend. She was born on April 7, 1953 in Philadelphia to John and Alice Stewart, both who have preceded her in death.

Alice was raised in the Upper Orchard section of Levittown and graduated from Bishop Conwell High School. She met her husband, Marc, in 1972 and they were married for 47 years. In addition to her husband Marc, she is survived by her children Heather Krajcer (Carl), Keith Behar (Mary Kay), Adam Behar and Bryan Behar (Lauren), her grandchildren Ava, Emery, Benjamin, Kellen and Henry, her brothers and sisters, extended family and her many friends.

The most important thing to Alice was her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a huge Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles (Go Birds!) although nothing compared to watching her kids and grandchildren participate in sports and activities. She enjoyed visits to the Jersey Shore, a good card game and her iced coffees. She had a beautiful smile, infectious laugh and enjoyed a good party.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home on 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA between 5-7pm. A funeral Mass will be held the following morning, August 11, 2022 at Queen of the Universe Church at 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania at 10 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Beechwood Cemetery at 2026 Bensalem Boulevard, Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
