Alfred L. Heller Alfred L. Heller died on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Lower Bucks Hospital. He was 90. Born in Long Pond, PA, he was a longtime resident of Lower Bucks County. Mr. Heller was a welder for Riley Stoker and Schutte and Koerting for over 25 years until his retirement in 1982. He served proudly in the US Army during World War II and was a member of the VFW. He also was a member of the Senior Centers in Middletown and Bristol. Mr. Heller sang in his senior choir. Beloved husband of the late Florene (Strickland) and Ellen (Devine), Mr. Heller was the loving father of Raymond of Florida, Donald of Huntingdon Valley, Wanita Colosimo of Levittown and David of Maple Shade, NJ. He will also be sadly missed by his grandsons, Mark, Daniel, William, Keith and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Cayla and Charles; and siblings, Pauline Rooney, Lester Heller, Millie Reardon and the late Emilie Passante. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, 8:45 until 9:45 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where his Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 9:45 am. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
