Alberta M. Berger of Fairless Hills died on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 65. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Berger has been a life long resident of Lower Bucks County and was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker church for over 50 years. She was a skilled worker in the charge back division of Jones New York Clothing Company for the past 12 years. Mrs. Berger enjoyed scrap booking and making her own greeting cards and she will be lovingly remembered for her hand made Christmas cards each year, as well as her famous homemade chocolate chip cookies. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband especially to Hawaii, the Caribbean and Europe, but her main focus was always on her grandchildren. Mrs., Berger was the beloved wife of William J. "Bill" Berger for 30 years. She was the loving mother of Michael M. Mason (Donna), Regina R. Ruggiero and William A. Berger (Michelle Heaton). She was the devoted grandmother of Evan, Derek and Nadine Mason, Keith and Timothy Gallagher, Cassandra and Caroline Ruggiero, and Daniel, William J. II and Tyler Berger. She will also be missed by her niece Melody Godfrey (Oliver) and their children Harlan and Sophia Godfrey. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Alberta Inglehearn and her brother Henry Inglehearn. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call on Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 9172 New Falls Rd., Fallsington where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date at St. Mark Cemetery.
