Albert J. Tenaglia

Born in Philadelphia, and raised in Girardville, PA, Mr. Tenaglia has resided in Levittown for the past 70 years. He received his diploma from Girardville High School in June, 1947, while serving in the US Navy as a Radioman.

Mr. Tenaglia was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish in Levittown.

Albert was a true Entrepreneur. He owned and operated many businesses during his lifetime. Among them, Tags Pizza, Tags Tavern, a trucking company, and a 7-11 franchise in Bensalem.

An original "Levittowner", Mr. Tenaglia was active in the community in his early years. He served as the president of the Woodrow Wilson High School Touchdown Club in the early 1970's and was an Umpire with the Levittown International Little League.

He spent endless hours watching his grandchildren play various sports. He also enjoyed handicapping horse races at the Philadelphia Park race track.

Beloved husband of nearly 70 years to Mary E. (Armstrong), Mr. Tenaglia is the loving father of Sue Ann Breen (James), Emidio Tenaglia (Robin), Michael Tenaglia, Dina Hutchinson, Philomena Hunt (Brian) and Marco Tenaglia (Cheri).

He is predeceased by his daughter, Ann Marie Maziarz and her husband, Robert.

He is the devoted grandfather of 25; and the proud great grandfather of 36.

Born one of 11 children to the late Philomena (Zacchei) and Emidio Tenaglia, he is survived by his sister, Philomena Botson.

Services and interment will be held at a future date.
