Albert Wayne Coffman, 83, of Levelland, passed away June 21, 2017. A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, June 26, 2017, at George Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 27, 2017; at First Baptist Church at 2 pm. Wayne was born in Patricia, Texas, on December 17, 1933 to Syd and Velma Coffman. His family moved to Bledsoe, Texas, in 1943 where they farmed and ranched. He attended Bledsoe School and graduated there. He worked for the county 33 years in Cochran County and in Bledsoe, Texas. He served as County Commissioner for 16 years. He started farming in 1974 while serving as County Commissioner. He retired as County Commissioner and from farming in 1996 and moved to Levelland, Texas. He lived in Levelland until his passing, making many friends at church, McDonald’s and the donut shop. He loved to visit and talk and was very active in activities at First Baptist with the SonShine Choir. He was a great Christian man who lived out his belief in Christ. His wife, Patsy Coffman, precedes him in death as well as his parents and one brother, Melvin Coffman. Wayne leaves behind one sister, Juanita Melear; his two children, Randy Coffman and wife Pat; Rodney Coffman and wife Terri; six grandchildren, Bryan Coffman and wife Heather; Jeremy Price and wife Linda; Justin Price and Charity; Tiffany Fullen and husband Tony; Kevin Coffman and wife Jessica; Krista Ryel and husband Jake; eight great grandchildren, Lane Coffman; Logan Coffman; Lindsay Coffman; Jon David Guajardo; Matthew Fullen; Kaylee Fullen; Maddison Price; Carlee Price; Addyson Coffman; Lexi Coffman; Haylee Ryel and Braxton Ryel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the SonShine Choir at First Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
