Taylor "Tay Tay" Kucel

Taylor Elizabeth Kucel is no longer in pain and resting in Jesus’ arms after her courageous 27 month battle with cancer. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, June 19, 2015, at George Price Funeral Home in Levelland,Texas. A funeral service honoring Taylor will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the First Assembly of God Church in Levelland,Texas with burial to follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Taylor was born February 4, 2006 in Lubbock, Texas to Chad and Katherine Kucel, and passed away in their loving arms on June 16, 2015. She had just completed the 3rd grade at Levelland Christian School. Taylor was very active in the First Assembly of God Children’s Church and loved riding horses, music, writing songs, camping, and her friends. Tay Tay loved hunting with her Daddy and playing with her brother, Cason. Taylor was very compassionate toward others, and kept those with needs in her daily prayers. Left to treasure her memory are her parents, Chad and Katherine Kucel; brother, Cason Kucel; grandparents, Joel and Kimberly Kucel, Roger Sullivan and Connie Sullivan; great-grandparents, Shirley Houserman, Dorothy Sullivan and Helen Butts Stasey; aunts and uncles, Joel and Stasha Kucel, Tyler and Laren Sullivan, Stanley and Kelli Hammond, and Greg and Tiffany Seiler; as well as many loving cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Taylor’s memory to the following organizations: Make-A-Wish North Texas Chapter; Covenant Children’s Hospital Child Life Specialist; MD Anderson Children’s Art Project; and Ronald McDonald House Houston, Texas.
