Matthew Tate Stanley

Funeral services for Matthew (Matt) Stanley, 29, will be 2:00 PM, Friday, September 24, 2010 at South Plains Church, Levelland, Texas with Pastor Eddie Trice and Jason Kuhn of Nashville, Tennessee, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. He died Monday, September 20, 2010 in Lubbock.

Matt was born on December 2, 1980 to Len and Jeannie Welch Stanley. He attended and graduated from Levelland Schools and farmed around Levelland until his death. He married Traci Heverly on August 5, 2000 in Levelland. He was a member of South Plains Church, Levelland.

Survivors include his wife: Traci Stanley of Levelland, his daughter: Elise Stanley, 8, his sons: Kade, 5, and Kale, 1, all of Levelland, his parents: Len and Jeannie Stanley of Levelland, Texas; his sisters; Misty Brummet and her husband Nathan, and Macy Stanley, all of Levelland, his grandparents, J. R. and Bettye Stanley of Levelland, and Jim and Jeannette Welch of Levelland, his parents in law: Victor and Carolyn Heverly of Levelland, his sisters in law: Jennifer Lloyd and her husband, Russ of Midland, Texas and Nikki Heverly of Lubbock, Texas.

The family suggests memorials to the Levelland Christian School, 1905 E. Cactus Dr., Levelland, Texas 79336 or toor the Matt Stanley Children’s Education Fund at Aim Bank, 110 S. College Ave., Levelland, Texas 79336.
