Majken (Mickey) G Bostman Walker Turner passed away August 22, in Abilene. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017, at 11am at the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland, Texas, with Pastor Jesse Hodge officiating. She was born to Harold A. Bostman & Ruby (Yates) Bostman in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England, August 5, 1929. Mickey was married to Reginald (Reggie) Walker in 1945 and the couple had 4 sons. Later in life Mickey married James (Jim) Turner in 1995 in Levelland, Texas. Later, due to health problems they moved to Abilene, Texas in 2011 to be near Jim's daughter, Becky. Jim's death in 2014 preceded her but, they enjoyed 19 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jack Bostman, her sister Doreen Diaper, her son Richard Walker, & stepson Kenneth Turner. Surviving her are 3 sons Robert Walker & wife Jenny, Gary Walker & wife Trudy and Stephen Walker & wife Pauline, a sister Wendy & husband Patrick Wakefield, all living in England. Surviving her also is stepdaughter Becky Turner Nail & husband Ronnie of Abilene. Also surviving are 4 grandsons & 10 great grandchildren, all living in England, 2 step granddaughters & 4 step grandsons, 4 step great grandchildren, all living in Texas. Mickey served many years as a Matron or nurses aid for convalescent homes for the elderly in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England. After moving from England & marrying Jim, she became a member of the First United Methodist Church in Levelland and volunteered for Meals on Wheels & other various civic organizations.
