Julie Dawn Welch, 53, of Lubbock passed away January 4, 2016. A family visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at the George Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Levelland. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Julie was born November 28, 1962 in Levelland, Texas to parents Jimmy and Jeanette (Hogue) Welch. Julie was a bookkeeper for West Texas Gas. Preceding her in death were Mindy and Matt Stanley. Julie is survived by her parents, Jimmy and Jeanette Welch; daugh-ters, Tori York and Courtney Smith; son-in-laws, Cody Smith and Matthew Carney; granddaughters, Emery Smith, Presley Smith, Charley Peyton Smith and Jemma York; siblings, Jackie and JoAnn Welch and Jeanie and Len Stanley; nieces and nephews, Misty and Nathan Brummett, Macey and Aaron Bracken, and Chelsi and Trey Welch.
