Billy Dean Morris Sr.

Funeral Services are under the direction of George Price Funeral Home in Levelland, TX., and will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 2:00 pm at George Price Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland, TX., with Johnny Fietz officiating. Burial will follow in Whitharral Cemetery in Whitharral, TX.

Billy was born July 16, 1935 in Portland, AR. He was the son of William Leon and Emma Beatrice (Finney) Morris. Billy moved from Pine Bluff, AR. to Borger, TX in 1954.There he met his future wife, Alberta Lee Rorabaugh, and they were married in Stinnett, TX. on July 5, 1955. Billy went to work in the oilfield in Borger, TX. in 1956. Billy and his family also lived in Perryton TX. and Odessa, TX. before moving to Levelland, TX.in 1967.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta, of the home, two sisters; Elise Land of Montrose, AR. and Inez Hamby of Monroe, LA., three brothers; James Morris, Leon Morris and his wife, Dianne, C.W. Morris and his wife, Rynn, all of Pine Bluff AR., four sons; Billy, Jr. and Susan Morris, Bobby, Sr. and Melody Morris, Benny and Sherrie Morris all of Levelland TX. and Bradley Morris of Pine Bluff, AR., ten grandchildren; Bobby, Jr and Melanie Morris, Sarah Morris and Bethany Morris all of Level-land, TX., Billy III “Trey” and Kristen Morris of Yorktown, VA., Emily Morris of Maumelle, AR., Audra and Tanner Osborn of Whitharral, TX., Bradley Morris, Jr. of Savannah, GA., Melissa and Lee Ford of Sherrill AR., Eric and Valerie Morris of Stuttgart, AR., two step-granddaughters; Particia Sanders of Pine Bluff, AR. and Stephanie Claggett of Hot Springs, AR. Eight great-grandchildren; Bobby III “Bo” Morris, Britt Morris, Bryan Morris, Jonathan Osborn, Abigail Osborn, Jackson Osborn, Hannah Ford and Cheyenne Ford. Six step-great-grandchildren; Toni Mosley, Tyler Mosley, Taylor Mosley, Jeffrey Claggett, Justin Claggett and Jules Claggett. Two sisters-in-law; Joyce and Hayse Reneau of Greenville, TX. and Betty Montgomery of Laguna Park, TX. and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Erie Mae Atkins, Louise Harrell and Mary Cogbill, two brothers; Joe Morris and George Morris and one step-great-grandson, Jeremiah Claggett.
