William H. Chandler

Born in Caldwell County, he was the son of the late George T. Chandler and Muriel Story Chandler. He worked for Thomasville Furniture for twenty-eight years and served six years in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Martin Chandler and Jessie Kenneth Chandler.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother and sister-in-law, George Lane Chandler and Amelia Chandler of Jackson, TN; his beloved dog, Joe and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Pendry’s Chapel at 11:00 AM. Rev. Nathaniel Austin, Pastor of East Maiden Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Laurel Fork Baptist Church cemetery in Boone, NC. The family will speak to friends following the service.
