Wesley Scott Jett of Lenoir, 44, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care while surrounded by his loving family and friends after his two year battle with kidney cancer.
Mr. Jett was born in Caldwell County to the late John Harvey Jett and Maxine Livingston Jett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Maleah Haas. He was a loving husband and father. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He was the former owner of 1841 Café and a member of Life Application Fellowship Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Lisa Triplett Jett of the home; his daughter, Katie Jett Hanek and husband Nicholas of Hickory, his son, Brandon Scott Jett and wife Rhian of the home; his granddaughter, Isobel Elizabeth Jett; his brothers, John Jett of Lenoir, Bruce Jett of Angier, and Roger Jett of Baton; his sisters, Donna Whitson of Greensboro, Patricia Thrift of Lenoir and Marty Anderson of Lenoir.
A memorial service will be held at the 1841 Café in Lenoir, North Carolina on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 6:00 pm with Mr. John Hart officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at 1841 Café.
