Susie Kaye Brown Laws

Mrs. Laws was born in Caldwell County to the late Johnny Brown and Katie Sue Miller Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Kaye Laws and a brother, John Daniel Brown, Sr. She was a proud veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving during Desert Storm and she was employed with the Lenoir Post Office and a member of Sunrise Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Brien Dean Laws; a brother, Donald Brown and wife Debbie of Lenoir; a sister-in-law, April Brown; a niece, Melissa Kaye Brown; nephews, John Daniel Brown, Jr., Christopher Ryan Phillips and Dustin Scott Keller; great-nieces, Patience Elizabeth Brown, Eden Lynn Alysse Brown and Madison Lee Keller.

A funeral service will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church Friday, January 11, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend David Woods and Reverend Edd Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
