Steven and I will always be friends. He was a very good man who I will see his spirit again. I pray sincerely for all of his friends a day family that
they will find peace and comfort knowing they should see him in heaven soon.  He was a friend to me and I will always be a friend to him. FATHER GOD MERCIFUL POWERFUL LOVING FATHER PLEASE COMFORT and
BLESS HIS SOUL IN HEAVEN.

We served aboard USS O’BANNON (DD 987) together in the mid 80s in OC ( Operations Communications) Division. He was several years older than most of us and brought wisdom and sensibility to the table when I would have gone off in a very wrong direction. He was a really skilled Signalman who was relied on by most every Officer of the Deck at any hour for visual communication that was fast and always right. I learned a lot from him and am sad to hear of his passing. Our ship and our Navy were better because of his service. When you’ve served and deployed in a ship with someone, terms like friend, co-worker, colleague are not adequate. We were Shipmates, a relationship that no maritime warrior thinks is casual or takes lightly. I pray for divine peace and comfort for his family.

As a Gunner's Mate on the O'Bannon, I had no business being on the signal bridge, but it was always such a pleasure visiting with Steve that I snuck up there any time I could. It was a pleasure and an honor to serve with him. Fair winds and following seas, shipmate.

Remember Steve very well from High School Days. Steve and my older brother Mike were really good friends with the Class of 68 at Hudson High. Fond memories of watching Steve and the New Breeds preform in " The Battle of the Bands. Anyone who knew Steve knew he had a exceptional singing voice. Life of a party was a understatement.... Rest Easy Steve.

I remember Steve as being kind. That cannot be said of a lot of people these days. I went to school at Hudson High with Steve. He was older,  but I remember he always had people around him, laughing and having fun. I never saw him belittle anyone or try to cause them to feel bad about themselves. He was a "jock" at school and was cool! ( You can tell we were Boomers ; ). He was a neighbor for a short time, and he was still the same as in our youth. He will be remembered and missed by many. Prayers to his family for comfort at his loss.

What a wonderful, fun friend Steve was.  He was my older sister's age, and she thought the world of him.  He was always smiling, singing and loved to dance.  He had a great voice and everyone went to see the New Breed.  He had the best way of making people around him happy.  He will be missed so much.

Steve will be missed by my wife, kids and myself. He was not just a landlord he was a friend and a neighbor always saying hi when we were outside and always telling stories over a few drinks rather it would be sitting outside or inside his house while paying rent or watching a good football game or golf even though I never knew the game of golf and sometime while watching a movie together.  He was always understanding and adored my kids he watched the grow up and he loved them almost like they was one of his own.  Gonna miss those times and even the times when he would call when he needed a hand with something or figuring out something with his phone or TV cause we know he was not a fan of the new technology.  Til we meet again buddy   RIP

Such a loss. Steve was a great man that was fun to know.  He will be missed by many.
