Sharon (Hall) Gragg

Sharon Hall Gragg, age 67 of Lenoir, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born November 15, 1955 to the late Hal Hayes Hall and Dovie Martin Hall of Lenoir.

Sharon is survived by her siblings Sandy Hall Bryant and husband Rocky Bryant, Kim Hall Reid and Samuel Martin Hall and beloved niece Kelly Bryant Story and husband Josh Story.

Sharon grew up and lived in the Happy Valley community and graduated from Hibriten High School. She worked at Broyhill Furniture for 37 years up until the companies closing. For the past 12 years she worked at Hamby Brothers Concrete as the Office Manager.

Sharon loved to look after people. Whether it was a long phone conversation to lift someone’s spirits or a baking a cake (pound cakes were her specialty) she enjoyed helping people. Her greatest love was Kelly, her niece. From birth, Sharon was her second mother and biggest fan. She never missed a dance competition, graduation or special event.

No service by request. The family will hold a private memorial in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or Patterson Fire Department.
