Mrs. Sullivan was born July 19, 1943 in Wilkes County, NC to the late Roosevelt Adams and Betty Baldwin Adams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sylvia Gentry, Jennie Clark, and Ruby McFaden.
Ruth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed traveling with her church group and was loved by many people.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Michael E. Sullivan and wife Carol of Rutherfordton, NC, Robert E. Sullivan and wife Gao of Granite Falls, NC, brother, Fred Adams of Wilkesboro, NC.
Also left to cherish her memory are Ruth’s grandchildren, Brittany Dinola of Charlotte, NC, Taylor Sullivan Fender of Spindale, NC, Christian Sullivan of Granite Falls, NC, Faith Sullivan of Granite Falls, NC, and Grace Sullivan of Granite Falls, NC.
Also left to cherish her memory are Ruth’s great grandchildren, Finley Dinola and William Dinola of Charlotte, NC.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
A funeral service to honor Mrs. Sullivan will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Greene of East Hudson officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
