Ronald Eugene Holman

Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Holman.

Ronald is survived and will be dearly missed by his sons, Ronnie Holman and wife Donna of Granite Falls, NC, and Reggie Holman and wife Karen of San Jose, CA, his daughter Loretta Wheeler and husband Shawn of Cape Girardeau, MO, his grandchildren: Travis Holman, Erin Hamby and Husband Cory, Kristen Holman, Elyssa Holman, Cierra Wheeler: his great grandchildren Dylan Holman, Corbin Hamby, Finley Hamby, Mattie Hamby; his brother Jerry Holman of Granite Falls and sister Annie Lee Walker of Lenoir.

He was a long-time member of Baton Baptist Church. He always made time for others and invested his life, time and influence in those he came in contact with. He was active in the lives of his family members, eager to help when asked, and enjoyed spending time with each of them.

His favorite things were rabbit hunting with his beagles, fellowshipping with all those who pursued in the rabbit chase, listening to bluegrass music and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Holman will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, April 10th at Baton Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Puckett officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 pm at the church. A graveside service for family only will follow at Mountain Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Pallbearers will be Travis Holman, Dylan Holman, Jacob Townsend, Cory Hamby, Landon Holman and Billy Safford.
