Rona Mae Jackson Turnmire

She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Dallas George Turnmire; sons, Roy Allen Turnire and Michael Todd Turnmire; sister, Juanita Jackson Walker; and brothers, William Jackson, Rondell Jackson, Millard Jackson, and Kenneth Jackson.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Bolick and husband Gerald, and Rebecca Turnmire and Tim Watson, all of Lenoir; son, Jerry Turnmire of Lenoir; grandchildren, Roxie Shook and husband William of Pennsylvania, John Turnmire and wife Patricia of Lenoir, Tina Bolick Smith and husband Skip of Lenoir, Stepanie Bolick Gragg and husband David of Lenoir, and Gerald Bolick and wife Amy of South Carolina; sister, Patricia Jackson Oliver; 11 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be Thursday, January 19, 2017, 12:00 pm, at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with the Reverend Jeff Hoyle officiating. The family will visit from 11:00 am-12:00 pm, prior to the service.

Interment will follow the service at Belleview Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dylan Smith, Keith Edmisten, Kenny Edmisten, Rex Walker, Wayne Walker, Alan Hosclaw, and John Turnmire.
