Roesta "Roe" Fred Keller, age 88, of Hudson, North Carolina entered his heavenly home on Friday, March 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 3, 1936 in Caldwell County to the late Robert Keller and Clora Greene Keller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Keller.
Those left to cherish memory include his loving wife of 66 years Geneva Jenkins Keller, one daughter Lisa King (Steven); one son Mickey Keller (Kelly); one sister Judy Parsons (CL); three grandchildren; Matthew King (Makayla), Mekenzie Keller, Mason Keller; two great grandchildren, Brody King, Wesley King and one on the way.
Roe loved his family dearly, He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and Pepaw. He loved fishing, hunting, playing golf and tying fishing flies. He was a devoted Christian and love the Lord. He will be greatly missed.
A funeral service to honor his life will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Living Hope Church with Rev. David Crisp and Rev. Gray Williams officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Garden.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew King, Brody King, Mason Keller, David Jenkins, Donnie Jenkins, Landon Jenkins and Chris West.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Living Hope Church.
In lieu of flowers, the memorial contributions may be made to Living Hope Church, 1890 Connelly Springs Rd. Lenoir, NC 28645.
