Ned Levon Hedrick

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances McLean Hedrick, daughters Tracy Johnson and husband Stacey of Lenior, Veronica H. Gray and husband Teddy of Granite Falls. Three grandchildren Channing Ritch of Shelby, Cassandra Pope, and Jade Curtis of Lenior, four Great Grandchildren Paige and Cannan Ritch and Nolan and Avily Pope. Along with Ned’s sister Susan Cable also of Lenior.

Ned Hedrick worked in the furniture industry as a foreman. Ned was known to many as a loving father and friend that many would go to in their time of need for comfort and friendship like no other. Ned will be remembered for teaching his girls, “Life is not always fair”.

A visitation for Ned Levon Hedrick and family will be conducted at Pendry’s Funeral Home on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 12:30-1:30 pm followed by interment at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor Michael Medlock will be officiating the graveside service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Waters, Kenneth McLean, Len Cable, Calupe Triplett, Dustin McLean, and Cory Carlton.
