Matthew Lee Lambert

Mr. Lambert was born in Catawba County to Jack Lee Lambert and Karen Austin Lambert of Lenoir. He was employed with Autumn House. He loved working on cars, spending time with his family and going to gospel singings.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John F. Lambert and Atwell G. Austin and a grandmother, Treva Austin Young; step grandfather, Bennie G. Young; an uncle, David M. Austin.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Joshua Glenn Lambert and wife Angela Dawn Lambert of Morganton; his grandmother, Addie Lea Lambert of Lenoir, a nephew, Joshua Glenn Lambert, Jr. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 09, 2012 at Pisgah Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Ronnie Miller. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 08, 2012 at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lothar Jaeger, Byron Smith,Chris Whisnant, Jerry Soots, Thomas Lambert, Jason Shoemake, Nathan Shoemake and Shane Miller. Honorary pallbearer will be Kyle Call and Joshua Lambert, Jr.
