Matthew Monroe Carswell

Proceeded in death by father, Darroll Monroe Baldridge, wife Lisa Carswell, maternal grandparents, Jesse and Mary Truax and paternal grandparents, George M. and Dixie Cornette Baldridge.

Mr. Carswell is survived by his daughter Ashley Hood (Husband Alvin) and son Sebastian Carswell. Matthew’s parents Debra Truax Carswell and Jack Carswell and 3 grandchildren with 2 more on the way, along with his sister Melody Poarch (Husband Greg) and brothers Shannon Carswell (Lisa), Jamie Carswell (Christy), and Josh Carswell (Alisha).

Matthew will be remembered for being a loving father and grandfather. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Carswell served in the US Marine Core and loved his country. He was known for having a huge heart, never meeting a stranger and willing to help anyone in need.

The Carswell family will hold a private family service at a later date, inurnment will be with the family.
