She was born on November 26, 1943 to the late Lester Moretz and Gladys Marie Kimberlin Moretz in Ashe County.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Larry Wheeling; daughter, Tammy Lynn Glasby and husband Greg of Granite Falls; and grandson, Colten Greene of Granite Falls.
Mrs. Wheeling was a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, loved to be in the yard, and was a hard worker throughout her life. Her love for her family was immeasurable.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Burkhimer and Ron Beane officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Due to Covid-19, social distancing and face coverings will be required.
