Mary McGee Chester, 62, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Chester was born in Caldwell County to the late Glen Ernest McGee and Alda Barnet McGee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Renneth, George and Roger McGee and a sister Ernestine McGee.
She was employed with Lower Creek Elementary School for 20 years and attended Lenoir Community Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband David Relfard Chester of the home; her son David Jason Chester and fiancée Denise Grogan Wilson; her brothers Bill, Bobby, David and Steve McGee and a sister Paula McGee Colley.
A memorial service will be held in Pendry’s Chapel Friday, July 12, 2013 at 6PM with Reverend Daniel McGee and Reverend Dennis Tomlinson officiating.
