Marie Erleene Davis

Marie Erleene Davis, 83, of Hudson, passed away on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. She was born the daughter of the late Cline Livingston and Pansy Livingston on January 19, 1933 in Wilkes County, NC. Erleene enjoyed spending time with her family and adored working with her flowers in her garden. She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center in Lenoir for her knitting class during the week. Erleene shared a special love with her dogs Andy and Bodie. She will be dearly missed.

Along with her parents, Erleene is preceded in death by her sisters; Jeanette Bailey and Patricia Lackey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 42 years, Jimmy Davis, her sons; Richard Senn of Granite Falls, Mark Senn (wife Elaine) of Beaufort, SC, and Tim Davis ( wife Donna) of Hickory, daughter; Jacque Nance ( husband Boone) of West Memphis, AR, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Erleene will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home. Reverend Ed Warren will be officiating the services.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Caldwell Senior Center, 650-A Pennton Ave. SW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
