Luther Frank Billings

Mr. Billings was born in Caldwell County to the late Luther Gilmore Billings and Mary Arnett Billings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ada Parsons Billings and a sister Leona Raines. He was retired from the furniture industry and was a member of Hibriten Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Alicia Dye and husband Eddie of Hudson; his grandchildren, Daniel Dye, Kalin Toler and Gracie Toler, all of Hudson; his brothers Ronnie Billings Sr. of Lenoir, Wayne Billings of Texas, Randy Billings of Lenoir, Mike Billings of Denver, NC and Larry Billings of Hudson, and his sisters Nancy Carpenter of Granite Falls and Maxine Arnold of Hudson.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Mr. Bud McLean officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Henson, Larry Billings, Randy Billings, Danny Billings, Donald Poole and Rick Foster.
