In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Wilson, brothers, Hubert and Paul, a sister, Daisy and a son-in law, Charles Keller.
Loretta was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hudson where she taught Sunday School for 18 years. She loved flower gardening, vegetable gardening, canning and being outside.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Daryl Triplett (Sandra) of Lenoir, Tracy Triplett (Diane) of Hudson, Travis Triplett (Beverly) of Hudson, daughter, Sharon Keller of Hudson, step-sons, Mike Wilson (Pam) of Lenoir, Darryl Wilson of Hudson, a brother, Cavin and sisters, Deborah and Kathy.
Also left to cherish her memory are 11 precious grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service to honor Mrs. Wilson will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Hudson with Rev. Adam Triplett officiating.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the church.
Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Dancy, Josh Dancy, Zachary Baker, Jack Taylor, Shane Triplett and Charles Keller.
