Lois Marie Watson

Lois Marie Holsclaw Watson, age 89 of Lenoir, passed away, on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at The Shaire Center. Born Monday, May 29, 1933 to the late Anie Walter and George Cleveland Holsclaw in Caldwell County.

An addition to her parents she is proceeded in death by her late husband of 50 plus years, William Marshall Watson, sisters Pansy Walter and Dessie Hamby, brothers Paul and Cloyd Holsclaw.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her son Mitchell Watson, daughter Judy Guenll. Grandchildren Sam and Sarah Watson, brother Tommy Holsclaw, sisters Sue Mitchell, Joyce Townsend, and Betty Holsclaw, along with a number of nieces and nephews.

Lois, will be remembered for being a loving mother and grandmother. Never meeting a stranger, she would do anything for everyone. Lois believed in “Doing the right thing”. She enjoyed cooking, spending time her family, the ocean and fishing. Lois specially enjoyed fishing with her son Mitchell.

The Watson family will receive friends Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service for Lois will be held at Pendry's Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm with the Pastor Steve Hedgecock officiating.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park, 2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC.
