Mrs. Triplett was born January 27, 1938, in Caldwell County to the late Joseph Mikeal and Mary Sue Hallyburton Mikeal.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ranzy “Burl” Triplett, a son, Kenneth Darrell Triplett, son-in-law, David Mikeal, and a brother-in-law, Frank Parrish.
Linda attended Rock Springs Baptist Church, was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She focused her time on taking care of her family and loved to cook and care for them. In addition to caring for her family, she loved to camp and fish.
Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Ranzy Burl Triplett Jr. of Lenoir, her daughter, Sherry Mikeal of Lenoir, a sister, Rebecca Parrish of Lenoir, a grandson, Derek Triplett of Lenoir and a great-grandson, Dalton Triplett of Lenoir.
A funeral service for Mrs. Triplett will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Rev. Burl Jones officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Lovins, Wesley Braswell, Ted Triplett, Roy Smith, Dallas Harding and DJ Harding. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Dalton Triplett.
