Linda was born on June 11, 1953 in Caldwell County to the late James Dillard and Cora Carolyn Gragg Woodruff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jonothon Shore, a grandson Benjamin Shore and a brother Ray Woodruff.
Linda was an active member of Worship Point Baptist Church and worked with the quilting group there to make quilts that were donated to needy people or community organizations. She loved her Lord and served him well. She was a very organized woman and worked for many years as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. Linda was very loved and will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles “Chuck” Shore of the home, a daughter, Larissia Shore of Laurens, SC, a granddaughter, Alexis Shore of Anderson, a brother, David Woodruff of Lenoir and four sisters, Margaret Sigmon, Rachel Kirk, Diana Kirk and Wilma Lowman , all of Lenoir.
A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 am at Worship Point Baptist Church with Rev. Lane Hamby officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made in Linda’s honor to Worship Point Baptist Church at P.O. Box 2969 Lenoir, NC 28645.
