Joyce Kaye Robbins

Joyce Kay Greene Robbins, age 72 of Lenoir, passed away, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Valley Nursing Center, Taylorsville NC. Born Friday, April 14, 1950 to the late Lola Gold Greene and Norman Greene of Watauga County, NC.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. Robbins is survived by her husband of 56 years Harold Robbins, daughter Sabrina Laws (Gary Dishman), Grandchildren Nikki Newton and Casey Newton. Joyce’s special relationship with nephews Allan Greene, Chris Greene, and Bradley Meade will always be remembered along with nieces Clara Hickman and Patsy Sheets. Mrs. Robbins surviving brothers are Dean Greene (Willma) and Granville Greene (Sharon) along with sister Afta Meade (William).

Joyce will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. Sunday mornings were known for breakfast with Joyce as she loved cooking for the family.

The Robbins family will receive friends Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Pendry's Funeral Home.

Inurnment will be with the family following the receiving of friends.
