Jerry Dale Wilcox

Jerry Dale Wilcox, age 78, of Hudson, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Mr. Wilcox was born April 8, 1945 in Caldwell County to the late Sam and Colleen Wilcox.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Wilcox, and a great-granddaughter, Serenity Wilcox.

Jerry was a loving and dedicated father and grandfather. Jerry was known to be a very kind, giving person, always putting others first. He drove a truck for Hickory Springs, where he retired from. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, especially with his great-grandson.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Jeffrey Wilcox and wife Debbie, daughter, Leslie Colvin and husband Larry, brothers, RG, Ned, Larry and Earl Wilcox, sisters, Mary Wilcox all of Lenoir and Shirley Sparks of Toccoa, GA . Also surviving are three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Jerry on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
