Jeffrey Andrew Williams, age 64 of Lenoir, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 under Amorem Hospice. He was born on Saturday July 12, 1958 to the late Milton Franklin and Mantha Irene (Mask) Williams.
Mr. Williams is survived by his son, Jeff Jones and his girlfriend Brianne Hays and their son Ames Hays, brothers Keith Williams (the late Pat Williams), Marshall Williams (Darlene), Tommy Williams, (Kathy), Steve Williams (Debbie), sisters Betty Williams Beshears, and Linda Williams Wright (Jeffery). Preceding Mr. Williams in death are his brothers Jimmy and Alfred Williams, and sisters Rebecca Williams and Carolyn Williams McGhinnis.
Jeffrey will be remembered for loving everyone, a people person that would do anything for you. Jeffrey was a great Dad and a devout Christian. He reveled in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with many of those he encountered offering them a wooden cross and sharing how Jesus had made such a wonderful change in his life. Jeffrey was a life time member of Mt. Hermon UMC of Lenoir, N.C. Mr. Williams was an avid fan of and possessed an intense love for Ford trucks. He especially enjoyed spending time with his son restoring his F-100 Ford truck as well as attending car shows in Gatlinburg, TN. Jeffrey could often be seen wearing his signature overalls, Ford T-shirt and Ford hat. Mr. Williams enjoying living in the Koinonia Apartments and hanging out with the many friends he made there--- one dear friend especially Ron Allen, Williams is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The Williams family will receive friends Friday, September 30, 2022 from 11:00 am - 11:45 am at Mt. Hermon UMC of Lenoir.
The Funeral Service for Jeffrey will be held at Mt. Hermon UMC on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 12:00 pm with the Rev. Tracy Love and Rev. Sam Craven officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon UMC cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Amorem Hospice 902 Kirkwood St NW, Lenoir, NC, and the “Cemetery Fund of Mt. Hermon UMC”. The family expresses their sincerest and heart felt gratitude to the staffs of Amorem Hospice and the oncology staffs of Atrium Health Care of Charlotte and Lincolnton.
