David James Payne left this earth on January 5, 2023 after a full and vibrant life of fifty years. He was employed by McCreary Modern furniture of Gamewell, N.C. as a sander for many years. He was especially skilled as a woodworker with his own shop in his backyard. David was a passionate Carolina Panthers fan as well as a devotee of Professional Wrestling.
David is preceded in death by his father James William Payne and William Eugene Henderson. He is survived by his son Jordan, mother Wanda Rose Henderson, two sisters Melissa (Lisa) Griffin (Gregory), Amanda Steele (Billy) and a brother Randy Payne.
