David Shawn Miller

Shawn was born September 30, 1973 in Caldwell County to David Thomas and Jane Greer Miller of Lenoir, NC. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Justin Buster and Thelma Mae Miller.

He was employed by M & S Manufacturing of Lenoir, NC where he was a manager. He was a member of Lenoir First Wesleyan Church and a graduate of Hibriten High School in Lenoir, NC.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Dylan Shawn and Landon Seth Miller, and stepson, Cody Grant Woods of Lenoir, NC; one sister, Robin Ann Hamm and niece, Ariel Marie Hamm of Lenoir, NC; and grandparents, Charles Talmadge Greer and wife Joyce of Lenoir, NC and Irene Greene Felts of Wilkesboro, NC.

A funeral service for Shawn will be held, Friday, April 1, 2011 at Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm with Reverend James Baker and Reverend Brian Auton officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir, NC.

The family will receive friends from1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Friday, April 1, 2011 prior to the service at Pendry’s Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are David Rookstool, Mike Jackson, Jackie McElyea, William Minton, Wayne Greene and Larry Foster.
