David Warren Mikeal

Mr. Mikeal was born in Caldwell County to Mae Setzer Laws of Lenoir and the late James Warren Mikeal. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was employed with Caldwell Freight for 23 years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sherry Triplett Mikeal of the home; his son, Derek Steven Triplett of Lenoir; his daughter, Emerald Nicole Mikeal of Raleigh; his sister, Betty Neil Laws and husband Randy L. Laws; a grandson, Derek Dalton Triplett.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Marshall Tidwell and Reverend Ed Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Confidence Advent Christian Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Laws, Darrell Triplett, Billy Lovins, Terry Coffey, Terry Howell and Wesley Braswell.

The family requests that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
