Mrs. Holden was born in Caldwell County to Joyce Howell Cresson of Lenoir and the late Fred Cresson. She was also preceded in death by a sister. She loved making crafts and was crazy about her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Thomas Michael Holden of the home; her son Michael Helton and wife Michelle of Lenoir; her daughter Stacey Townsend and husband James of Lenoir; a brother Gene Cresson of Lenoir; two sisters Wanda Holder and Christine Hodge, both of Lenoir; granddaughters Crystin Helton, Chloe Townsend, and Abigail Townsend and a grandson on the way.
A memorial service will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Brother Dennis Holden officiating.
The family requests that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
